Do You Know What Elks Do:
The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs.
In each of the 172 VA Medical Centers nationwide there is an Elk committee at work. Since 1917, hundreds of thousands of Elks and their families have given generously of their time, energy and resources so that the lives of our ill and aging veterans will be enhanced.
Last year the Elks provided contributions for charitable works of cash, non-cash, hours worked and miles traveled in the amount of $38,900,931 in California-Hawaii and over $306,662,378 nationally
The California Hawaii Elks Preschool Vision Screening Program screens over 50,000 children per year. It is the goal of the program to significantly decrease the number of children at risk for amblyopia ("lazy eye") and other vision problems.
The Elks physical therapists evaluate and treat children with a wide range of disabilities as they travel from home to home.
Our highly trained Elks Major Project speech-language pathologists can diagnose a variety of communication disorders and coordinate a home program of therapy with the parent.
Our occupational therapists, working with the parents, teach our children the basics from feeding and dressing skills to dealing with problems in sensory integration.

Welcomed in 2000+ Lodges - As a member you are welcomed to visit all lodges in the USA. You might be in downtown San Francisco and want to take a break - visit Elks # 3 just 1 block from Union Square and enjoy a beverage or lunch at Elks member prices. You might be in Hawaii by Waikki - swing by Lodge # 61 and enjoy the views of Diamond Head. Plus, many Lodges offer overnight space for your RV free of charge or at a nominal fee.
RV Club - Enjoy the great outdoors with friends. Play cards, see the sights, go out to dinner or share a potluck dinner. Great fun . . . . Just join the Elks!
Quilt Club - Meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Bridge Club - Meets every Friday at noon. Experienced players as well as novices are welcome.
Golf Club - If you like to gold this is the place to be. There are plenty of Elks who share your passion. Play in Lodge and inter Lodge tournaments.
Bingo - Meets every Thursday, 5:30pm doors open. Early Bird Game at 6:00 Full Game begins at 6:30 snacks available.
Lounge (The Bar) - The most comfortable spot in South Sacramento. Like to have a drink with friends? Enjoy member pricing! Like to watch sports? Come and enjoy the games on 6 different TV's including 3 large high definition sets, plus enjoy special events with great food and entertainment.
Karaoke - So you might just be the next American Idol? Then come and show us at Thursday night Karaoke in the Lounge, or just have fun listening. Your friends and family can attend as your guests.
Fitness Club - The best bargain in exercise. Right in your own neighborhood you have an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, racquetball / handball courts, and weight room. Elk members and spouses can join at a very reasonable yearly fee. Barbecues are often held in the back patio area.
Card Room - If you like quiet moments to just read, play cards, surf the internet, or have a friendly game of pool, this is the place!
Social Events - Come and enjoy fun events, great dinners, and dancing. Check out our Cinco de Mayo celebration, Luau, Birthday celebrations, Sweethearts Ball or New Years Eve party. Something is happening every month!
Charitable Service - We honor our Veterans, care for special needs children, provide vision tests for children, and support our community safety personnel, just a few of the worthy causes we support.
